Simple Overnight Oats

Simple Gluten-Free and Vegan Overnight Oats with freeze-dried strawberries

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Oats
  • 3/4 cup Almond milk or any preferred milk
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 cup fruit freeze-dried or fresh
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
Optional
  • 1 tbsp Pecans or any preferred nuts

Method
 

  1. If using freeze-dried strawberries, put fruit in bowl first.
  2. Add oats.
  3. Add milk and mix.
  4. Add maple syrup or honey (or preferred sweetener).
  5. Add cinnamon and mix.
  6. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  7. After refrigerated, add toppings such as nuts or fresh fruit.
  8. Enjoy!

Notes

When I don't have fresh fruit, I use freeze-dried strawberries. They will soak up the milk and rehydrate.
