Apple Crisp for One

This apple crisp is made in a ramekin to be the perfect one serving, gluten-free and vegan dessert.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Apple
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Butter (melted) or coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp Oats
  • 1 tbsp Almond flour
  • 1/8 tsp Apple pie spice
  • 1 tbsp Pecans

Equipment

  • Ramekin or oven-safe bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Peel and slice an apple into thin slices.
  3. In a small bowl, add apple slices, 1 tablespoon of the brown sugar, and cinnamon. Mix together.
  4. Add apple mixture to ramekin or small oven-safe bowl.
  5. In another small bowl, melt butter in the microwave for 15 seconds.
  6. Add oats, almond flour, the second half of the brown sugar, cinnamon, and apple pie spice. Mix together. Add pecans.
  7. Add topping to ramekin.
  8. Bake for 25-28 minutes, or until apples are cooked through and bubbling and topping is crispy.
  9. Top with ice cream. Enjoy!
