Date Balls
These date balls are quick, simple, and delicious. They are chewy, chocolatey, and nutty. They are the perfect snack or healthy dessert.
These date balls are:
- Gluten-free
- Vegan/dairy free
- Peanut free
- Healthy
How to make date balls:
Soak the dates in warm water if needed.
I like these dates from Amazon:
While the dates are soaking, process the almonds to powder. Add the cacao powder and collagen powder or protein powder and process.
Once the dates are soft, remove the pits if needed. Add the dates to the food processor with the cacao powder and almonds. Process again. You should now have a soft, doughy consistency.
You could even add coconut, chocolate chips, or cacao nibs. Roll into balls. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes. I like to refrigerate them overnight so they are less sticky.
Enjoy!
